As of 31.12.2025, we exported 64.711 tons of hazelnuts. In the 2024/2025 season, the same time export was 134.251 tons, in the 2023/2024 season same time export was 114.848.- tons, as can be seen in the graphic.
On 15.08.2025, crop 2025 prices for 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernels started at the level of 12.700 USD/tons (10.310 Euro/tons). Today, 11-13mm natural hazelnut kernel prices for DDU Europe delivery are 14.300 USD/Tons (12.139 Euro/tons) levels.
The expected harvest for 2025 is between 400,000 and 450,000 tons. Exports are projected to be between 210,000 and 220,000 tons of shelled hazelnuts (420,000-440,000 tons of in-shell hazelnuts), while domestic consumption is expected to be 100,000 tons of in-shell hazelnuts. Total consumption will be between 520,000 and 540,000 tons. With production and a carryover from the 2024 harvest, a stock of 570,000-620,000 tons is expected, with a carryover of 50,000-80,000 tons to the 2026 harvest. Whether this carryover is more or less will be clearer with the 2026 harvest figures. Harvest assessment studies will begin in February 2026, and initial expectations will start to form.
Expectations:
• Hazelnut prices, which had fallen to 260 TL/kg, are currently around 280 TL/kg, and
expectations are that they will increase further in the coming days.
• Ferrero is expected to enter the market with the new year.
• It is rumoured that producers have 20% of the harvest remaining in their stocks. There is a
strong possibility that they will carry most of this stock until April/May.
