As of 26.04.2020, we exported 271.972 tons of hazelnut, in 2018/2019 season same time export was 208.547 tons, in 2017/2018 season same time export was 213.630 tons, as it can be seen in the graphic.
In 15.08.2019, crop 2019 prices for natural hazelnut 11-13mm started at the level of 6.490 USD/tons (5.850 Euro/tons). Today 11-13mm Natural hazelnut kernels prices DDU Europa delivery 7.700 USD/Tons (7.100 Euro/tons) levels.
As of the end of April, it was registered from the Commodity Exchanges 750,000 tons of in-shell hazelnuts and we expect more 50,000 tons of registration in May, June and July. There was frost on 16/17/18/19/20 March and 23/24 April. As a result of this, it was observed damages over 400 altitudes especially in Ordu and Giresun regions. The extent and the amount of damage can be clearly understood after 20 May. We will keep you informed.
